Understanding Hate

Hate can not be fought with hate, it only creates more hate. If you want somebody to suffer because they disagree with you, there is a problem with you.

It doesn't matter what they believe, or your reasons for it, that desire for another's suffering is a sign of an internal malfunction, a piece of faulty logic that inevitably creates a deep suffering inside.

Only love is able to conquer hate. It doesn't fight it head on, it simply erodes it by exposing it's value. When one is seeped in hatred, they are suffering, unable to break free from the anger controlling them. To hate them, you confirm their hatred rather than confront it.

Instead, if you recognize their hate for what it is, a total absence of compassion and love, then feel that for them instead. Step away from the fight, let it go and carry on with your life in happiness.
