Stop for a Moment

Let's stop for a moment to imagine how it could have been had we taught compassion and empathy rather than competition and supremacy.

If we saw ourselves connected rather than separate, and recognized the entanglements that bind our existence as a whole.

If we were able to see the complementary forces of opposites, which rely upon each other to define their meaning.

Imagine the way life would be different if we didn't bother to follow the plan, if we chose to wander from our predestined outcome to enjoy the eternal moment of now.

What would it be like to completely lose the fear of failure, to be totally free of the burdens of insecurity that threaten our joy?

What would captivate our attention then?

What would draw us into our battles without the Ego present there?
